We did a science experiment that ended with a chemical reaction. The reaction wasn't as big as we were hoping but the kids thought it was the coolest thing! Elephant toothpaste is an experiment with dish soap, food coloring, yeast, a strong hydrogen peroxide and water. if you mix yeast with hydrogen peroxide, the hydrogen peroxide will rapidly break down into water and oxygen gas. The oxygen gas forms bubbles. These bubbles would usually escape from the liquid and pop quickly. But adding a little dish soap provides additional surface tension, allowing the bubbles to get trapped and creating lots of foam. Pictures and video to come!
This week our kiddos designed their own t-shirts! It was a huge success! They designed their shirts on a piece of paper first and once they were done the duplicated it onto their shirts! We had kids draw stars, dinosaurs, sonic dash and pay tribute to Kobe and Gianna! We have some talents artists here at bear club! Check out their amazing designs!
We have so many active kids here at bear club and lately our obsession is just dance. We played it spontaneously late in the day one day and they have been asking for it every day since. In case bear club kiddos want to access it at home, just go to YouTube and search for just dance. They are so many song choices and the kids just love dancing to today’s hits! Check out the kids busting a move down below! :)
