Earlier this month, on March 6th to be exact, we celebrated National Oreo Day here at BLMS !MPACT!
Who doesn't love Oreos? They are chocolaty, creamy, and somehow vegan!
To celebrate this important holiday, we had three Oreo themed activities.
The first activity: Cookie Face Challenge.
For this challenge, !MPACT-ers placed an Oreo on their forehead and had to move their face to bring the cookie down to their mouth without using their hands. This is harder than you would think, and it comes with the risk of getting cookie crumbs in your eyes! Check out some of the photos!
This challenge was very similar to the classic egg and spoon race, but of course we used Oreos!
Students had to race to their partner while balancing a cookie on a spoon. The fastest team won, and everyone got to enjoy their cookies (as long as they didn't fall on the ground)
We all know about Cake Pops, one of the most popular dessert options at Starbucks, but we made our own version of the sweet treat using Oreos, frosting, and sprinkles.
Your students made some very creative, unique, and cute creations!
