November was filled with a lot of fun activities. So here are some of my favorite things we did this month.
Balloon Frenzy is a hilarious new game we've been playing where each person ties a balloon and string around their ankle and then they run around and try to pop each other's balloons.
A fun twist on pictionary that is a favorite around here. You have to put on these super stylish blacked out glasses (sunglasses covered in sparkly duct tape) and draw your given word with a whiteboard marker that has been securely fastened to the end of a cane. So funny.
This is Ethan trying to draw a jacket. Which proved to be pretty hard for his team to guess :)
A classic that has recently re-gained interest during free time where everyone takes turns playing instruments or the new favorite twist: singing however beautifully or horribly (on purpose) as you want. We have discovered we have two songs in our Rockband song list that are in other languages (one is in German, the other Spanish) so those are also hilarious to sing at the top of your lungs. If you've heard some different types of music coming from our room in the evenings, this is what's going on!
This past month we went to see Thor at Lincoln Square and then hopped over to Bellevue Square to do some shopping. While I don't have any pictures of the movie (I hear that's frowned upon) it was really good!! Then at the mall some of the boys agreed to go into Sephora to make sure the rest of their group got to go to the stores that they wanted. I think they enjoyed it more than the girls ;) Check out their makeovers below. We had a lot of fun!!
Okay so this was NOT one of my favorite things, but it made for a great learning experience :)
The fire alarm went off one morning before school and our morning crew had to trek out onto the football field in the dark and the rain, and they did it all with smiles on their faces!!
Every once in awhile we find that silly pictures magically appear on our Site Cell Phone... so this month's spotlight is for Valentina :)
