Happy Friday to all of our BLMS Impact friends and family! This week sure has been hectic in more ways than one! As you may have read in different emails or updates over the past few days a lot of events in our program and the district as a whole have been canceled. This includes our upcoming field trip to the Sprinker Recreation Center and our Impact Oscars that we had planned for next week. We are currently in the process of finding alternative solutions for some of these.
That being said, and as far as I am aware, Impact will remain open as long as the school is open. While we always clean and wipe down surfaces throughout our room we have stepped up our preparedness and have increased our cleaning frequency.
Despite all of this we are still looking on the bright side and are trying our best to still have some fun here!

And what could be more fun than watching a documentary on Nova about the search for an Arctic ghost ship? Unfortunately I had to be at a different activity during the documentary, but luckily I have the PBS app and can watch at home.
But the real fun project was making our Fudge Oreo Brownies! Never have I made children wash their hands so many times in one activity but boy oh boy was it worth it!
