It has been such a great month here at Bobcat Club. One of the highlights was Leadership Club. Students who are in 4th or 5th grade could apply to be a part of Leadership. All students are accepted and they applied for and received tasks. Each day that they wish to participate, they wear a leadership badge and sign in with the hours that they help. It is so awesome to see these students being so responsible, helping out, and taking their jobs so serious. We also celebrate their help by having a couple days a month that they have Club 54 time. During this time the 4th and 5th graders get to have snacks and play on the ipads/ipods/Wii and Xbox.
This month we did so many fun cooking and craft activities. The students have especially enjoyed playing in the new diner here at Bobcat Club!
This month at Bobcat Club, we had so much fun jumping into the new year with all our kiddos. We kicked off the beginning of the month with creating our own 2019 Bucket Lists, played a spirited game of Name That Disney Song, made Popcorn Snowballs from scratch, and even answered the question, Can You Fit Through an Index Card?
As always, Scrapbook Club with our 3rd-5th graders was a hit, but this month was a little extra special - the girls got to enjoy some tasty treats and ended up doing an impromptu photo shoot!
Once a month, Bobcat Club hosts Scrapbook Club for our 3-5 graders with our special guest, Ms. Katie! Our older kiddos look forward to their time both with Ms. Katie and with each other. Scrapbook Club provides endless opportunities to practice their creative expression as well as bond with their peers.
A note from Ms. Katie: "The girls loved their new books and had a great time framing their pages. We listened to holiday music while we created, tried out the new pens and sorted through the new paper. Boy, did we ever! At one moment is was a paper palooza. My favorite part of Scrapbook Club with these girls is their excitement to share their work with me, each other and inspiring one another. :)"
Have a wonderful Winter Break, Bobcat Club!
