I hope that everyone had the four day break that they desired. The kids have told stories of their travels, indulgence, and family time. It was nice to see that the kids were really energetic this week, and hopefully it was because of the extended rest time. While reviewing this week, I can’t really point out one OUTSTANDING event that we did this week, but I know that the kids were engaged in a NUMBER of activities. The kids got to make a variation of one of their favorite trends, SLIME. Although, this time they added pumpkin into the mixture to make Pumpkin Slime. The kids came up to me after the fact and told me the slime felt funky. After squeezing the concoction, we all decided that it help like flubber. The kids figured that it was because of how the ingredients blended together. Next, our kids made pine cone owls and turkeys. They ended up being adorable. Some kids went even further and added settings for their creatures. Last, our kids learned how to make a very simple sweet treat that we usually associate with the fall and winter. They made Apple Pie in a Cup. Overall, I think that it was a great week after the long weekend.
Have a great one,
