Happy October to all! This month the weather got cooler and the leaves started to turn colors. This time of year is always my favorite. Not only does football dominate the season, fall holidays and the weather is something I enjoy the most. This month "All About The Kids moment came after a VERY windy day. Mr. Harris and Ms. Min (our kindergarten teacher) decided that we were going to walk to the Holly St. campus( new BASC offices and pre-school building with a bunch of kinders to fill pumpkin leaf bags. This was a spur of the moment activity that felt we should do before the leaves turn moochy when the rains come. We could of spend hrs there playing in the leaves and having a great time. We donated some of our bags to the Preschool entrance and decorated our portable as well. Hope you had a great October!

We want to express a BIG thank you to all the families that joined us for our 4th annual Pumpkin Carving night. We had such a fun time seeing everyone with their families carving pumpkins, playing in bouncy houses and eating yummy foods. This is one of the funnest nights of the year for us and we are so glad that so many of you attended. Thanks for making it a great time for us!!

Happy end of September! I hope all of you had a great month. I'm sure most of you were excited for school to start and get back into the routine again. This month we had a blast full of fun activities. We spend a lot of time outside playing. We had a lot of "All about The kids moments." My special AATK moments were getting to know our Kindergarten kids and our Apple Challenge. This year we have 25 new kinders this year. The first couple weeks of school, I walked them to their classrooms. On the way we went over hallway expectations and sang songs reminding them which classrooms they go to. Please ask them about the songs:) Below is a picture of a special Kindergarten friend who I have gotten to know this month.

Can you all believe that we made it through the first whole month of school?!?! It has been so much fun seeing all our returning Cougar Club kiddos and meeting all our new ones. One of the greatest things I witnessed this month was how kind and helpful our kids are. During many of our craft activities students have volunteered to run it instead of the staff, offering their skills to other kids. It is great to see them show care for others along with demonstrating their leadership skills! It truly makes working here so wonderful!
