Club 54 had their own special Halloween party this year. Instead of doing a haunted house, we decided to have a spooky party. This wasn't your average Halloween party... oh no... because it was jam packed with activities. The first station was pumpkin carving. Any kiddo that wanted to carve a pumpkin, chose a stencil, picked up their carving utensils, and carved away. The next station was the crafting station, where they could make cute pumpkin, spider, and monster craft kits. Then it was onto the baking station where they kids made Caramel Apple Monster Munch. We popped popcorn, made caramel and put it on top of the popcorn, and added some apple chips to the top. It was very tasty!
When they felt like they were ready to cast some spells, they came over to the counter to grab a cup of witch's brew. It was also very tasty. Finally, the movie station was next. In the background, Monster House was playing and popcorn was eaten. Halfway through club 54 decided that they wanted to watch a different movie so we turned on Nanny McPhee. When all the activities were done and they just wanted to relax and watch the movie, each student got to "trick or treat" and get a candy bag :) Id say the party was a blast!
