Coyote Club had a very busy two days of no school and LOTS of fun! Take a look at the pictures and see below all the fun we had! :)
On Wednesday, everyone got to wear their PJ's; bring a stuffy, blanket/sleeping bag and come cozy up in the MPR for pizza, popcorn and a movie. But of course... right when we pressed play for the movie... the power went out!!! Oh goodness that caught us by surprise! But however, that didn't stop our fun, we got out a bunch of mats, some holiday music, lanterns and flashlights to have our very own fort building. Once forts were completed we had some yummy pizza with our friends and had some fun. Finally, the power came back on and the kids got to watch the movie from their fort and enjoy popcorn and hot cocoa all while watch the movie Elf. We also had other fun activities happening that day like kisses BINGO, marshmallow name building, ornament decorating, Holiday games and more!
On Thursday, we were super busy again! We made some homemade ornaments for the Coyote Club tree, had a Gingerbread House challenge which was a BIG hit, had a candy cane hunt, took a virtual field trip with Nickelodeon to space to see how slime works in outerspace! Since we had our elves make a visit back to Coyote Club we of course had to read the Elf on the Shelf book and give our elves some new names, which the kids came up with and voted for Boy: Rusty and Girl: Clara.
We had such a fun couple days with the kids and it was truly a memorable experience seeing everyone have so much fun together and making memories this year. It's always a rewarding feeling when you hear the kids say "This is the best day ever!!!" - Ms. Lindsey
