A delicious activity aimed for a fun and failure.

Here's how it worked!
We had two blenders! I called for two kids!
They were to make a 5 ingredient smoothie! Their faces glowed with anticipations at the words.
There were 5 categories! Textures/viscosities, Bases, Fruits, Sweeteners, and Randoms!
The challenge? They were only allowed to pick one ingredient from each category.
"Wait, what? Only one???" Their faces looked at me with shock, intrigue, disappointment, and the slow dawning as their minds began to problem solve. The challenge was on.
We had so much fun, experimenting! I think the kids really enjoyed the idea of not knowing how their concoctions were going to taste! Some tried to make a tasty concoction, while others went straight to trying things they didn't think they'd like just to try things! So proud of them! ^_^

I had them all write down their ingredients so we could have it on file, and most importantly, in case they liked what they made! I did have one kid, Ansh, who liked theirs so much they wrote down they amounts they placed in the blenders and made a copy of their recipe! After finishing the project, Alex and I taste tested them all for fun! I found I liked them all and Alex found he also liked most of them! Well done scientists!
