And So...

9/19/2019

Happy National
Play Dough Day!!!!
He-he, psych!
That was actually on Monday!
But you're darn right if we took advantage of such a wonderful holiday! =D
I bet you're already sitting in your comfy chair reading this knowing exactly where I'm going with it.  Thinking, "Of cooourse she's going to say they made play dough on National Play Dough Day.  Where else would she be going with this?"
Well.  If you're that person...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
You are super good at anticipating things to come!
Give yourself a high-five for being right! =D
It always feels good to be right. ^_^
Our play dough bananza started off as less than a bananza, so to speak, haha.  We began the activity with a total of three kids only!  However!  I was not deterred!!!  Nor were they! For in those three girls was a great excitement to make their own personal play dough to play with!

It was so fun and chill as we all talked, created, and goofed around.  There were weird faces made, color experimentations and even scent experimentations!  That's right!  We added scents to our play dough!  It was hit and miss for how well it worked in all honesty, haha, but we certainly enjoyed trying different ones! While making the dough, we also touched on proper measuring, how to know the difference between Tablespoon vs. teaspoon, to fluff flour before measuring, and several other important kitchen know-hows!
To make it all even better, as kids began to trickle in from after school activities, and see what we had made, we had an influx of interest from kids!  The activity ended with anywhere between 10 and 15 kids who got to make their own personal ball of play dough!  It was a lot of fun for everyone in my personal opinion. ;D
