There was no cooking today.
Today, we sliced and diced in a completely different manner.
We sliced paper.
To make stencils!
Our goal: to make a stencil from cardstock which we would then use to spray
our design onto a black t-shirt with bleach! :D
First, we told them the two different techniques they can do, and showed them some cool examples of both.
Not any picture will work!
Third, we set them off to the technology to find the images they wanted, when they found it, we printed it out and laminated it! Laminating isn't a required step, but it helps your stencil be sturdier and last longer.
Lastly, once they'd gotten their image they went to cutting them out!
