The Hunt is on!

12/19/2019

I hope, like myself, many of you are fans of scavenger hunts.  Why do I hope this, you asked?  Honestly it's just because I like them so much, I want everyone to enjoy them, too! Haha! ;D
I was actually super excited about this scavenger hunt because a classic scavenger hunt is to go out, find the item, take the item, and first person/team back with all said items wins!
However, there's not really a lot of stuff you can necessarily take when on school grounds, haha, so normally it turns into a nature scavenger hunt.
his isn't bad!  Yet, variety is nice, lol.
So this time!  I went around the school taking close up pictures of things!  Once I'd done that, I placed a small green star next to the spot because some of them have multiples around the school and the green star indicates the right spot! =D
Printing off all the photos, I then passed each team an envelope containing all the photos.  After going over expectations and rules, I released them to the hunt!

Here's most of the photos the kids had to find within the school grounds!

Working together, they raced, or more accurately, sped walked, around the school! When they found the spot matching the picture with the green star, they took a picture with their whole team, and then raced off to the next one!  They had 51 things possible to find! Here are all the things/places they had to find! -->
After spending both blocks hunting the school, we counted the pictures!
Our first and second placers were really very close! =D
Coming in second: Finley, Alex, Tobin, and Nigel with 39 finds!
And coming in first: Rudra, Ethan, and Daniel with FORTY finds!
Congratulations and well done to all players who worked hard at hunting and deciphering the photos! =D
Until next time!
