Maywood we have a problem! Our group of intrepid explorers set out with the lofty ideal of exploring new lands and escaping the Earthly (or Kerbally) bounds of the world. However we did run into the issue of the rockets spinning uncontrollably.
Mr. Logan brought in his computer to run Kerbal Space Program, a science focused computer game in which players build and fly their own rockets to explore a fictional solar system. The students loved it, racing against a clock to put their ships together, and hope they hadn't overlooked something or driven the center of mass too far off! Many times we saw one player take the last one's vehicle and try to modify out any disastrous miscalculations. We didn't make it to the Mun (Moon) this time, but there will definitely be a next time!
