Hello !mpact Families!
We've had a busy month here at Maywood !mpact. As you know we no longer have our portable and are working out of room 305. It's been quite the transition but things are starting to settle down! I unfortunately do not have a lot of photos to share with you as our first month was more of a trial run! I'm sure you all understand!
Mr. Logan has already posted about Magic the Gathering as well as our Tin Foil Towers. I especially want to highlight the game Magic. It's been a very popular game at all of the other middle schools and I am so excited that we now have Mr. Logan to be able to teach your students! Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and even though we haven't had a structured activity with it, students are playing during their free time! So cool!
We also recently started setting up the WiiU as well as the Xbox during free time. Everyone has really enjoyed playing on the consoles!
This past week we made Personal Pan Nachos! We unfortunately did not get any photos, but believe me, the food was delicious. I even learned a new way to make guacamole! Ask Mr. Logan for the recipe :).
Last but not least we had some 2V2 basketball going on with Mr. Patrick and Abby on one team, and Konner and Jarrett on the other. Both teams did great and there was some great sportsmanship!
Check back next week & again at the end of October for more !mpact updates! Thanks for reading!
