ENDGAME! (No Spoilers)

4/26/2019

Picture
This week !MPACT went on a field trip to go and see the newest Avengers movie Avengers:Endgame. No only has everyone been waiting to see the conclusion because of the ultimate cliff hanger from infinity war but they were really on it to try and get tickets to win our weekly prize.

The prize consisted of 4 RESERVED seats at the AMC we are going to see the movie at. So it was highly valuable in the eyes of the students. After a week we had a gallon Ziploc filled with tickets but there could only be one winner and that was Aubrey S ! Above is the sign she made to inform the other students that she selected them to sit with her.

2k19 Peep Olympics!

4/19/2019

Once again PCMS was chosen to be the hosts of the Peep Olympics! It is such a great honor to be chosen to host year after year.... What you don't know what the Peep Olympics are? Well it includes only 2 events, Peep jousting and peep catapults. If you win any of the events you are held in very high honor and join a small prestigious group of elite winners. This year we had a record breaking amount of contestants but in the end only one would win!

First off we had Jousting, this includes taking our peeps and adding a tooth pick to them and putting it in the microwave. The first one to touch the other is the winner! we had 23 contestants and the winner is Aubrey!

Then we do Peep Catapults, its just like any catapult building competition but you can only use peeps to hold it together.

Happy Holidays Folks!

4/3/2019

Not those holidays you silly goose! OUR holidays, we took the time to make our own holidays including Kick Täg. Whats Kick Täg you might ask? Its an early Germanic holiday where the mother would kick there lease favorite things. So naturally we go around and kick our least favorite stuff like pineapple on pizza or lockers or math homework! We also crowned Eric the creator of Kick Täg as the Kick Täg Mister (Kick Day Master) and have a sweet trophy on the cabinet.
Our students wanted to spread the work about Kick Täg to the world so they made a promotional video so enjoy.

March Recap

4/1/2019

What a month! From ridiculous adventures to some big Oscars wins, we have had a lot going on!
Picture
This month we discussed very important topics such as 1) Do I look like Miley Cyrus' younger sister, Noah Cyrus and 2) ARE BIRDS EVEN REAL??
Turns out that I *kinda* look like Noah Cyrus, and we still don't know if birds are real or not.
A favorite activity this month was "Try Guys Try Pies" where we gave students mysterious flavored pies and had them try to guess the flavor. Giselle surprised us all in one round where she came in quite confident that she knew all her berries. She took one bite of her mystery pie and knew the answer right away... Marionberry! I was very impressed.

Mr.Tyler has been running a very successful DnD campaign this month as well! In the past DnD campaigns have taken place in forests, dungeons, and castles, but this one is on a boat! It has been a fun twist that our students really enjoy!

The Oscars! What an event. PCMS had some seriously exciting wins. Here is what we took home:

Colin Yuen - Best Actor in a Supporting Role
Viviann Garcia - Best Actress in a Lead Role
Nathan Coleman - Best Actor in a Lead Role
Aubrey Stubbs - Best Sidekick
Best Score
and the big one...
Best Picture!!

I am so incredibly proud of our PCMS students for all the hard work they put into "Fred Meyer Man" over the months.

<---I am so proud of our students that I even found it in my heart to forgive them when they forgot Plank at IMS and didn't bring him to the Oscars!! Luckily he hitched a ride to the theater and still got to enjoy the show :)

On to April!
