Happy New Year!! December was short, but filled with a whole bunch of fun!
Our Sewing Club activity attracted a lot of new people this month! We did a simple project of making hand warmers by picking out fabric, cutting it into two squares, sewing together, and filling with rice! Pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and you have yourself a re-usable hand warmer!
Another big hit every December is our Gingerbread House Decorating Contest! Each team was given one mystery item that they had to incorporate into their house. One team was excited to receive Peeps as their mystery item, team two received maraschino cherries, and the final mystery item was a box of spaghetti. As you can see from the pictures above, each team took a different approach to their masterpiece, but they all turned out great.

<---After we were done judging, everyone got to take home one sandwich bag worth of their gingerbread house! Viggy chose to take home some bubblegum, which he quickly regretted when it was stuck to his face.
Lastly, our half day field trip to Arena Sports! Plank joined us for this fun filled trip, and our PCMS students even asked to get him a high chair so that he could sit at the table and eat lunch with everyone. We got to bowl, play laser tag, gaga ball, the new Smash Ultimate, and....

...our bus drove past Santa on the way home! What a day!
We are looking forward to more adventures in January!
