November Recap

11/30/2018

Another month flies by! Here is what we did in November...
Picture
We have a new friend here at !MPACT, and his name is "Kirb". Not to be confused with his doppelganger, "Kirby". Here are some facts that we have learned about Kirb this month...

1) Kirb does not have knees
2) Kirb plays the big boy saxaphone
3) Kirb may just be Patrick Star's liver (unconfirmed)

Be on the look-out for more of Kirb's adventures at !MPACT in the future...

Tiny Pumpkin Pies was a big hit this month as well! Garrett especially enjoyed this activity as you can see in the pictures above^^^

Another big excitement this month was our very unexpected fire alarm in the pouring down rain! All of our !MPACT students were good sports about it, even if we were soaking wet by the end of it.

We also tried to make our own kinetic sand this month! The results were less than desirable (nothing can beat store bought kinetic sand). But we had a lot of fun making what was essentially just mud!
Finally, the most exciting activity this month was our scavenger hunt with Officer Hale! While everyone was at snack our Wii U and X-Box One mysteriously went "missing"! Officer Hale helped students collect evidence from the scene of the crime, and follow clues around the school to find our suspect... which was Mr. Steven!!
Officer Hale brought him back to our portable where we examined our evidence and confirmed he was our guy. Then we went through his backpack to find our Wii U, X-Box, and.... a new Nintendo Switch!! Just in time for Smash Ultimate to be released ;)
