  • For all beach/swimming field trips, remember to pack a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen!
  • All field trips will leave at 9:30 AM and return by 4:00 PM unless indicated

JUNE 23
KICKOFF CARNIVAL
What better way to start the summer than with a celebration!? Be sure to dress in your summertime best and enjoy a fun filled day complete with bouncy houses, a game truck, face painting and all things carnival! A carnivalesque cuisine of hot dogs/veggie dogs, chips and a drink will be provided.

JUNE 26 - 30
TIME TRAVELERS
Do you ever wish you could go back in time? This week at camp you can! Monday and Tuesday we will start back in the old, OLD days- prehistoric times! Get your shoveling arms ready for a dino dig and keep your eyes peeled for a prehistoric egg hunt. Wednesday and Thursday we will travel to the medieval times! All knights, princesses and jesters are cordially invited to a Renaissance Faire at Castle Discovery, complete with a pool noodle jousting tournament and a traditional no utensils needed feast! Friday we will dance through some of the best decades in music, style and flair, the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Come dressed for your favorite decade and get ready to boogie, foxtrot and twirl at our decade disco!

FUN WITH FOOD
This week is all about food…because who doesn’t love delectable cuisine! Monday, our K-2nd graders will have the option to participate in their own super market sweep while 3rd – 5th are challenged in the Club Connection grocery games! On Wednesday it’s all about chocolate with a trip to Theo’s and a chocolate spa. Thursday we will do what is said should never be done…PLAY WITH FOOD (through art, of course!)- palettes and punch, food style! On Friday, come dressed as the color of your favorite fruit or vegetable as we end the week with a fear factor food challenge. Throughout the week, Rainy Day Dinner Club will be by to prepare some delicious dinners to enjoy at home with our families!

BUILD IT
​This week is all about building, invention and tools! Students in our Inventor’s Institute will have the opportunity to create and build items for our future weeks at camp! Start drafting some design plans because on Tuesday and Wednesday we will be creating our own box town! Monday and Thursday, the Museum of flight will be visiting us to help our K-2s create “WeeBots” and lead 3-5s through a Robot Garage program. Friday, be sure to “build yourself a hair do” for our spirit day and get your engines ready for a box car race and drive-in movie!

EMOJI
This week is all about expression and everyone's favorite new craze...EMOJIs! Monday and Tuesday we will be taking a trip to where emojis all started, The Apple Store! At the Apple Store students will create their own movies through an animation program to take home and share with their families! Our 5th graders will get the opportunity to play Human vs. Zombies with  !MPACT. Sarah Jane will be making visits during the week to teach us how to express ourselves through acting. At the end of the week we will create our own Emoji stop motion movies. Friday’s spirit day is to dress in neon and tie dye!

KEEPIN' IT REAL (REALITY TV SHOWS)
​Week six is about keeping it real and what better way to do that than remake some classic reality shows! Monday and Tuesday is all about MTV's The Challenge where we will compete to do different tasks and see who comes out on top! Wednesday and Thursday get your dancing shoes on because we will be dancing with the stars! And Friday come dressed in your silly sunglasses or favorite celebrity looks for the final performance of the X factor!

SEAFAIR
What event happens in Seattle the first weekend in August? Oh that's right...Seafair! Get ready to sail away with a milk carton derby and a cruise ship party on Monday and Tuesday. Bring your bikes and your running shoes for a fun run and bike parade on Wednesday and Thursday! Friday, get ready for an amazing performance of RC planes and be sure to show your Seafair spirit by dressing like a pirate!!!!!

AUGUST 7 - 11
ISLAND EXPLORERS
​With the wind in our hair and the sand between our toes we will be exploring life on the island. At the beginning of the week, 4th and 5th graders will head to Wild Waves while onsite we will be on the hunt for sand dollars and head to the tiki hut for tiki treats! On Tuesday, K-3 will travel to Henry Moses Aquatic Center- be sure to bring a swimsuit, sunscreen and towel. Wednesday and Thursday its time for fun at the Family Fun Center and a Camp Counselor Safari! To end our week on Friday, there will be a Reptile Man show- don’t forget to dress in your Hawaiian attire for our Luau!

AUGUST 14- 18
PACIFIC NORTHWEST
​The Pacific Northwest is the best place to be; this week we celebrate our PNW pride! This week’s field trips include a Seattle highlight, the Seattle Center water fountain! A Sasquatch hunt is scheduled for Monday and an Apple Cup flag football tournament set for Tuesday. A celebration of Native American culture, art and storytelling on Thursday. To end our week, we will recreate Pike Place Market and host a Seattle to Portland bike race! In addition to all that fun we will have a chalk muralist help us create our own PNW inspired blacktop art and a special guest to get us in the crafty spirit with PNW creations! Wear your Sports team/school spirit wear!

TYPHOON LAGOON
Ready for a splash? There will be plenty this week! Bring a swimsuit all week because we will be in the sprinkler, pool and sun all day long! In between the splishing and splashing there will be an outdoor movie Monday, a bike day and bike wash Tuesday and for our final day of camp, a walking field trip to Pine Lake Park for an end of the summer barbecue!
